Set of 10 waterproof LED light bulbs with batteries for the Luminosa fabric tail

Please note, batteries are easily changed to restore existing LED lights to full brightness without replacing the bulb entirely. Replacement batteries for existing LED bulbs may be found online or at your local hardware store.

LED lightbulb care:

The LED lights featured in our Luminosa fabric tail are individual battery powered alkaline water safe LED light bulbs. Each bulb is turned on by twisting the cap to the right (after removing any present shipping barrier between the battery and the battery terminal) and turned off by twisting the cap to the left. 

After turning each bulb on, insert each bulb into the tip of each Luminosa tendril below the vinyl casing and into the tips of each fin tendril. Hip and dorsal fins are equipped with a small invisible zipper to access the inside of the fin for light installation and removal.

If used properly, turned off after use, and fully dried after use, the brightest light time frame is between 3 - 4 hours (if left on consecutively) according to the manufacturer’s specs. 

Fully dismantle, clean and dry all battery components after use for best results. Discoloration may occur due to corrosion and is easily cleaned with a cotton swab.

Please abide by standard alkaline battery care practices when handling such as wearing gloves, avoiding direct skin contact with wet batteries, and cleaning/drying batteries in a well ventilated area.

Batteries are easily changed to restore light to full brightness without replacing the bulb entirely. Store batteries separately from bulbs to prevent accidental battery drain when not in use.

The LED lights are safe to use in freshwater and chlorinated bodies of water. Salt water is more damaging to electronics overall and while these LED bulbs should be safe for use in saltwater, saltwater may increase the rate of corrosion/damage to the electronic components inside the bulbs.
